Jade has been coaching gymnastics for 17 years.  Her gymnastics career began at the age of 4, and the flipping and twisting in the living room quickly turned into competitive gymnastics through the age of 17.  Her favorite event as an athlete was bars.  As a coach, she has worked with all ages and levels of kids, from parent-tot classes to elites.  She has a passion for conditioning and is a strong believer in keeping kids healthy!  Aside from conditioning, Jade says her favorite thing about coaching is watching athletes' challenges turn into success.  She has experience as a  gym owner, as a level 8-rated judge, and she has participated in multiple community outreach programs. 

Her life outside the gym includes working on completing a degree in sports management, as well as a recertification as a personal trainer.  She also loves to travel; she recently returned from Africa, and will be travelling to Belize soon.  Her favorite color is GREEN and she loves cucumbers and oranges!

She has coached in the Bay Area for 8 years, and we are excited to welcome her to Edge where she will initially work with the Devo 3, Level 5 Team, and Optional Team, as well as preschool and Academy classes! Please take a moment to welcome Jade and introduce yourself!

New Teachers!

In addition to our new team coach, we would also like to welcome our new Academy and Preschool staff who completed the Edge teacher certification and training over the summer!  Please welcome Savannah Spencer, Gunjan Baird, Carrie Stouffer, and Rachel Chiang.

We also have several teachers in training, who may be shadowing classes as they complete their training.  Please welcome Jordan Ratcliff, Hannah Lachman, and Kirsten Trout.  We look forward to them joining our permanent teaching staff very soon!
